Qosmio X305-Q708 Gaming Laptop From Toshiba
Gone are the days when a laptop used to be a laptop. Pick one from any of the brands in the store, and they worked just the same, your deciding criteria were just the price tag and the brand image. Not anymore.
Toshiba’s Qosmio (pronounced “Koz-me-o”) X305-Q708 laptop is one such exclusive, niche-market product, and this one is targeted towards the Gaming addict who would like to be at their favorite gaming software wherever they may be, whether in the anteroom of the dentist’s clinic or at the airport.
The Qosmio X305-Q708 has a 17″ DisplayPort flat-panel display which gives up to 2,560X1,600 resolution and and HDMI interface that extends full 1,080p support to HD displays. The machine is powered by Intel’s Core 2 Extreme Quad-core processor and two of Nvidia’s GeForce 9800M GTS GPUs. The 4Gb of DDR3 memory delivers fast frame rates and very high-intensity visuals. The primary storage is solid-state 128Gb3, which is paired with a traditional 7,200rpm HDD worth 320Gb.
Moving to its external persona, the Qosmio laptop has a full-size keyboard, four Harman Kardon stereo speakers, a built-in 1.3mega-pixel webcam, and wireless USB and USB sleep-and-charge.
