Age of booty

Iʼve always found pirates to be an interesting group of people. Whether itʼs the swashbuckling, or the destruction of ships, they never fail to entertain. Itʼs hard to find a good pirate game, but I think we may done just that with Age of Booty (no pun intended). Published by Capcom Entertainment, and developed by Certain Affinity, Age of Booty goes the extra mile. The strategy game is offered as a digital download. It has been rated E for Everyone by the ESRB, but contains alcohol references, mild fantasy violence, and mild suggestive themes.

As the head of your own pirate ship, you will seek to send your opponents to the bottom of the ocean. You will also have to loot and destroy towns on your journey. You will be joining fellow gamers in online play as you team up to defeat your enemies. Max Hoberman, who designed the multiplayer for Halo 2 and Halo 3, had control over the multiplayer for Age of Booty. As you would expect, the gameplay is excellent.

You will find over 25 maps for you and your friends to explore and master. Just about everything you can imagine is customizable, so you will really be able to make the game your own. The animations are very nicely done and are fun to watch. Your going to feel like you actually ARE a pirate after playing this game. For the rock bottom price of $10, its going to be hard to find a game that matches Age of Booty; not only in fun but in value.
