Aion: The Tower of Eternity

April 20, 2009 by Ryan

aionI love the Elder Scrolls series, but I have really been craving a new role playing game lately. While its not due out until the Fall of 2009, I am already looking forward to Aion: The Tower of Eternity. The game was developed and published by NC Soft. They are the same ones who brought you Dungeon Runners. The rating from the Entertainment Software Rating Board is currently pending.

A mystical war is tearing the land of Atreia apart at its very seams. It will be your duty to save your people from their perilous fate.  You will be able to choose your own class. The four different classes may not seem like much, but they offer limitless options. Players will also have to decide which divine faction they wish to join; the Asmodian or the Elyos. Your decisions in the game will affect everything you do; so be wise about how you go about things.

Atreia is split in two, and is connected only by a rift known as “The Abyss”. No one knows anything about the place, and it will be your job to further explore it. The graphics and sound in Aion: The Tower of Eternity are among the best you will find this year. Flying can not only be used as a way to go from place to place, but you will also be able to take your battles to the skies! Aion: The Tower of Eternity is going to be one of the hottest games of 2009!
