Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen

The battle is on once again. Transformers has been around for as long as I can remember. Today’s teenagers grew up with the hit television show. The younger generation recently experienced the movie. There is truly more than meets the eyes with this franchise. Not only is the franchise formidable on the big screen, but it also makes an excellent video game. Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen is published by Activision Inc. and developed by Beenox Studios. It has been rated T for Teen by the ESRB for mild language, and violence. The action game is due for release on 6/23/09.

The game is based on the highly anticipated film due for release later this month. Gamers will be able to decide if they wish to be an Autobot or a Decepticon. They will have the ability to play as Optimus Prime, Bumblebee, Starscream, Ironhide, and many other characters. Two distinct campaigns mean you will be able to choose between saving mankind and destroying it. The storylines for both sides will keep gamers interested and are more than stellar.

For the first time in the history of the franchise, gamers will be able to take the battle between the Autbots and the Decepticons online. The multiplayer action is truly epic. Each transformer has its own unique characteristics and abilities. You will find this out more than once when playing online.  All in all, Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen does not disappoint. The storyline and multiplayer are its strong points. If you liked the movies or TV show, don’t pass up on this game!
